Do you really need six strings? A Tenor Guitar has four, but six gives you more options. Same thing for me. Consider six.

A 12-string guitar doubles those notes, and it gave us some of the best of the Beatles and the Byrds. It also doubles what I can do with six. Consider 12.

18 string guitars? Yep. They exist. Some are lovely old harp guitars, some are verifiably insane custom shredders shaped like knife blades or axes, and I have no idea how one would play one of those. But $18 does more than $12, and the math works. Thanks for considering this tier!
